They suggested the following for lubricated fasteners: 18-20 in-lbs for no.6 screws – typically used to mount bases. 28-30 in-lbs for no.10 screws – typically used for rings. 40-45 in-lbs for no.10 screws -typically used for windage screws on standard style bases. 65+ in-lbs for fasteners with a thread diameter larger than no.10.. For help identifying different a screw sizes. a reference chart with illustrations for each screw and their dimensions are included in the enclosed instructions.
