Each cutter can be switched from cutting the right side to cutting the left side of a captive ring by simply unscrewing the retaining screw and reversing the cutter. The 4 interchangeable tips allow you to produce 3/16. 1/4. 3/8 and 1/2 captive rings. The flat tool shank eliminates catches common to round captive ring tools rotating during the cut.
